We're looking for candidates who meet the following minimum qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job EMS experience
Current State of CT EMT certification or Paramedic license without disciplinary history
Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider certification
Basic computer and internet skills
Must have a clean driving record
Paramedics:
- Must be able to acquire SFHMC medical control authorization within allotted time frame
- Must have ACLS and PALS Certification
Additionally, applicants must pass:
- Physical agility testing
- Fit for duty medical exam and drug screening
- Background check
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with volunteer EMS organization
- Instructor Certifications
